Let’s start to make the nameplate

Firstly make sure the base that you are taking for the nameplate is clean if not then colour the base in white colour.

Step 1: take the stencil you have chosen for the nameplate and palette knife and the texture paste place the stencil on the ply wherever you want to put the design it is mostly preferred on the edges of the ply let it dry. You can also put 2 to 3 designs together if it comes in sync.

Step 2: once the texture paste is dry take black colour with a sponge or brush and colour the whole plate in black make sure there is no space left. Let it dry. You can choose any other colour you like as the base but it should be in proper match and it should suit your work you are doing. Try using some dark shade and pastels they go well. Try some chalk paint as well they work on all surface. They do not peel of like acrylic they are non-sticky as well.

Step 3: After the black colour is dry take a dry brush and the second colour which you have chosen, dip the brush in the colour take of the excess colour on a plastic so that you can reuse the same colour now put the colour with the dry brush on some spots not the whole surface.

Step 4 :take the golden or silver or copper colour on your finger and put them on few designs of the texture not the whole part this is just to make the nameplate glow and the designs to be visible.

Step 5: take the pieces of mdf or the other articles you want to put on the nameplate and colour them black you can also keep the few pieces as it is and colour the rest in black first after the black is dry now take the dry brush which you took of the second colour and do the dry brushing on the articles not the whole articles but the few spots, you can also put the golden colour with your finger let the pieces dry.

Step 6: Now colour the alphabets in golden colour and then let it dry. Make sure that you choose the appropriate size of the name according to your ply.

Step 7: We are ready for the final placement of the nameplate. Take your glue gun and start placing the things and parts of the nameplate into places. You can refer to the image while assembling the parts of the nameplate.
